Aaron Booker of Varvid sat down with Birger Steen, Vice President of Microsoft Small Business and Development, at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference 2010. Steen discusses how all the new cloud-based applications from Microsoft, along with new infrastructure solutions, create a “perfect storm for VARs”. It will soon be easier and more cost-effective than ever, he said, for VARs to refresh their PC networks, while improving productivity and mobility. Steen hopes that moving forward, the cloud will become more understood and more utilized by partners in all sectors.
